Recently I started a dance class. In person. My first in three years! Before covid, I used to attend dance classes from September to May each year. I really missed dancing during the pandemic. I was wondering how my body would cope with the unaccustomed exercise. Have you ever seen the Specsavers ad where the short-sighted teacher goes into the wrong class and is teaching all the oldies hip hop? Well that’s what it was like. This 20 something male instructor teaches aerobics through dance. It was the cha cha cha on cocaine. The samba on speed. I was the second oldest there but thankfully I didn’t collapse. It was great fun and so good for body and soul. It was great to be dancing again. We all left the class dripping sweat but smiling. I took arnica homeopathic tablets and I was able to move the next day, no problem. Isn’t it the simple joys of life that bring us such pleasure? Blessings.
