Project Joy

Over the winter I have been studying how to revamp a small garden. One useful piece of advice is to choose a word that describes what you want from the garden, and let that guide your choices. After much thought, I chose Joy. Yes, I am drawn to growing my own fruit and veg, but this year I want Joy. Beauty first. As form follows function, then I have already made a start. Years ago a kind neighbour gave me a lovely fern. I transplanted it and divided it into three. I am very pleased with the fruit of my labour so far, because it includes reusing existing resources instead of buying new things. Respect for the planet, colourful and cheerful flowers…Project Joy is under way! What is your spring project? Blessings.
